I would be happy to share with you photo’s of this archival message in a bottle received from an acquaintance in France.

My sister, Janisue Rigel was originally contacted in 2007 from Larry on her corporate web site that showed my name, Larry requested that she forward the information directly to me for review. Larry’s email is: larry_witham@excite.com

Larry was the first contact in France who loves to locate families and do work on genealogy.

The email from Larry was the first of any knowledge that any family member received regarding my father-in-law’s message in a bottle.

At present there have been news broadcasts the first – Barbe Liepman Butschek (granddaughter) with the Channel 4 Fox News – Jeff Crilley from Dallas Texas and another broadcaster located in Oklahoma City with Barbe. Recently C. J. Liepman was interviewed by his daughter on a video conference – Lindsay Liepman is an anchor news reporter in Florida.

I will be happy to share any and all information we have for your research. Mr. Witham and my sister are in contact continually regarding the update of the Message in The Bottle. Mr. Witham resides in France.

I personally am in contact with the WW 1 memorial at the Smithsonian.
