I shot this in the garden this morning.

I was out shooting today. I stopped to take a picture of this butterfly and when I got home I uploaded it into the computer. That’s when I noticed something extra.

Photographed on the lower Suwannee River. Yesterday I got a chance to go out and shoot for the first time in months. These guys are hard to shoot because they’re so skittish. This one stood perfectly still and at first I wondered why. Then I saw a panther just at the edge of the woods walking north. I could just barely see him and hoped he would come out in the open, at last he never did. That was the second time that day I got a glimpse of the panther.

This boat-tailed-grackle chick fell out of its nest. It chose a bad spot to rest.

I entered this photo in the Florida State Parks photo contest and I won. I want to thank everyone that voted, I couldn’t have done it without you. This is the first time I’ve entered a Photo of mine in a competition. This Eagle was photographed in Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park. Link

This is another eagle from Friday shoot. It is a juvenile coming in for a landing. Click on image for larger view.

I shot all these Eagles on Friday. Going back on Monday to have another go at them. There were 18 eagles in all. The juveniles outnumber the adults 2 to 1. The reason why most the images are pointed in the same direction is due to the fact that the wind was blowing from the north east with the sun somewhat low in the South.
